Medicine Interactions
Iron and zinc may decrease the absorption and efficacy of some
medications. If taking methyldopa, carbidopa, levodopa, thyroid hormone,
penicillamine, tetracycline or quinolone antibiotics or bisphosphonates
(osteoporosis drugs) separate doses by at least 2 hours.
