Valerian Forte provides temporary relief from insomnia, sleeplessness and
disturbed sleep patterns. Valerian has traditionally been used to aid
relaxation and improve sleep quality amongst habitually poor and irregular
sleepers.
Features and benefits
- Improves sleep quality
- Aids relaxation
- High dose tablet for extra convenience - just 1 tablet before bed
How it works
Valerian is classified as a sedative herb, and has been traditionally
used to induce relaxation. Herbal sedatives are indicated for the relief of
sleeplessness and insomnia.
This formula helps to improve sleep quality amongst habitually poor and
irregular sleepers. Valerian can also help to relieve temporary difficulties
in falling asleep.
While single doses can be helpful, evidence suggests that continuous use
over one or two weeks will produce even better results.
Valerian contains several groups of compounds including valerenic acid
and its derivatives which may be responsible for its sedative activity.
