Designed to boost
your child’s immune system! ProIMMUNE BOOST
Did you know that your child’s immunity begins to develop from the moment that
they are born?
Your child’s digestive tract is flooded with friendly bacteria immediately after
birth. In fact, it is the natural process of birth that initiates the
development of the immune system. Nourishing your child’s intestinal tract with
Probiotics promotes protective gut barrier functions which in turn boosts &
improves your child’s immune system. Did you know that studies show that
vaginally born infants have a different micro flora to caesarean born infants?
So by supplementing your child’s diet with Probiotics it may in fact stimulate
and boost their immune function.
Probiotics
- How they support your child’s Immune System
Supplementing your child’s diet with L. acidophilus and B. bifidum may assist in
boosting immune responses and increasing the quantity of cells responsible for
immune defence in your child’s body.
In healthy children, B. bifidum may assist in boosting immune responses by
increasing the levels of IgA. IgA is found in high concentrations in breast milk
and may act as a natural barrier against microbes. L. acidophilus may also
assist in post antibiotic therapy to normalise the micro flora in your child’s
digestive tract.

# Diarrhoea
# Colic & Wind
# Abdominal bloating
# Bad breath
Contains 3 billion live friendly bacteria per serve
If your child has a deficiency of friendly bacteria
they may be vulnerable to illness
The human body requires an abundance of friendly bacteria within the GI Tract to
fight off illness. This is because the GI tract is a vital part of the immune
system.1 Many types of bad bacteria enter the infants system through their GI
tract.

If your child is deficient in good bacteria then their defence against bad
bacteria is weakened, and they may be prone to sickness and illness. Lifestyle
and environmental factors may predispose infants and children to likely causes
of gastrointestinal upsets which may increase the risk of infections and
allergies. Risk factors include caesarean birth, formula feeding as apposed to
breast feeding babies, the probiotic status of the mother, infections,
antibiotics and impaired digestive function such as constipation and diarrhoea.
Deficiencies in Friendly Bacteria may be directly related to many digestive
Problems in Children
If your child’s digestive system is deficient in friendly bacteria, they may
experience one or more of the following health problems; constipation, irregular
stool movements, colic and wind, bloating, diarrhoea, bad breath, poor digestion
and allergies.
Why children need Probiotics:
# Caesarian birth
# Formula fed
# Allergies/family history of allergies
# Family history of lactose intolerance
# Antibiotics and vaccinations
# Poor immunity
# Digestive problems

Probiotics are the ideal way to boost your child’s immune system so they can
fight off illness.
If your child is frequently getting sick they may have a poor or developing
immune system and need some help fighting off those nasties. Probiotics are the
ideal way to boost your child’s immune system so they can fight off illness.
Introducing ProImmune Boost
ProIMMUNE Boost was specifically designed to enhance the immune function of
infants and young children.
Hundreds of hours of clinical research have gone into formulating ProIMMUNE
Boost. In fact, the formula itself has been involved in trials with great
success. At this very moment a study is being conducted through the University
of NSW involving Australian infants in an Australian environment.
ProIMMUNE Boost is a delicious, high quality Multi-Prebiotic and Probiotic blend
containing 3 billion live friendly bacteria and Oligofructose in every 1.5g
sachet. Each sachet of ProIMMUNE Boost provides your child with 3 special stains
of intestinal flora; Lactobacillus acidophilus, the most abundant strain of
beneficial bacteria in the human body; Bifidobacterium infantis is responsible
for gastrointestinal development in infants; and Bifidobacterium bifidum,
another primary probiotic found in the digestive system of healthy infants.
All 3 strains have a primary role in the development of the immune system of
infants and children. ProIMMUNE Boost comes in a convenient sachet, that can be
mixed with water or breast milk, making it easy to administer to babies and
children. Supplementing your child’s diet with intestinal flora may be both very
beneficial and nourishing for the immune system and digestive health.
Protection for the whole family
Have you ever had a child sick with a tummy bug who brings it home to your other
children who then passes it on to the whole family? Children pick up germs so
easily from their environment such as the playground, playgroups or pre-school,
school, toilets, playing in the dirt and even from animals all while doing what
they do best - being children! Well, with ProIMMUNE Boost you can provide your
children with protection against nasty germs.
What is Oligofructose (FOS)
ProIMMUNE Boost contains Oligofructose (FOS) which is a non digestible fructose
molecule. FOS helps to maintain the health of your children’s immune system by
reducing intestinal permeability and promotes the growth of Bifidobacteria in
the digestive tract. Bifidobacterium then ferments FOS to form acetic acid and
lactic acid which enhances the function of the intestinal wall thus assisting
with immunity, digestion and overall wellbeing. Put simply, FOS is a food source
for beneficial bacteria and can increase its beneficial activity several fold.
This is why FOS is known as a prebiotic because it encourages probiotic growth
and activity.
ProIMMUNE Boost can provide your children with protection against nasty germs.
Supplementing your child’s diet with Probiotics stimulates and boosts their
immune function.

provides your child with 3 special strains of friendly bacteria"
Assists with lactose intolerance
Some young children may be lactose intolerant from birth; others react to milk
formula and an intolerance develops later. The symptoms of lactose intolerance
associated with babies include wind, bloating, flatulence, abdominal pain and
diarrhoea. L. acidophilus found in ProIMMUNE Boost may assist with lactose
intolerance and may be used in the management of lactose intolerance in both
young children and adults.
ProIMMUNE Boost is dairy and lactose free and is also room stable so it doesn’t
need refrigeration. ProIMMUNE Boost also has a delicious vanilla flavour!
